Serendip would like to thank the people at Wimbledon Aathiparashakti Manram for donating £1000 to purchase 15 bicycles for teenagers who would otherwise walk miles to their schools. We would also like to thank Mr Vadivel who has donated money for a further 3 bikes.Despite these girls coming from very poor families they are performing well in their education. Most of these families have been resettled in Jaffna after the end of the war.
