After-school tuition was originally organised to help children catch up with their education during and after the war but is now extended to help all. For example, children in the Wanni perform well below the national average but only because their education is neglected. We are providing funds to carry out tuition classes in many centres in both the Wanni and Mannar. O/ level students are supported in Science, Maths and English, whilst A level students focus on subjects in Maths, Science & Commerce sections. Through this project we are helping more than one thousand children.
